Sacramento, CA. - Transparency is very important to Jen and me, and we want to be open about how everything works. When we go live on TikTok and viewers choose to support us by sending gifts such as roses, doughnuts, hearts, fireworks, and other virtual items, TikTok converts those gifts into a weekly payout that we receive.
A portion of those funds helps us cover basic daily living expenses so we can continue doing what we do consistently. Another portion is put back into the community to help provide meals for individuals and families who are facing food insecurity. Your support during our live sessions truly makes an impact beyond the screen.
Donations made through our Amazon wish list, as well as monetary contributions sent through CashApp, Venmo, or PayPal, are handled differently. Those donations are used strictly for purchasing food and supplies that we use to cook and serve meals to members of the community in need. We do not mix those specific donations with personal expenses. They are reserved for community outreach efforts only.
If you would like your monetary donation to go toward a specific purpose, you can include a note in the subject line when sending through PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp. For example, you may indicate that you would like your contribution to go toward groceries, cooking supplies, or a specific outreach event. We will make sure your donation is used exactly as requested.
We also keep and organize all receipts for purchases made with donated funds. Our goal is to maintain trust, accountability, and full transparency with everyone who chooses to support our mission.
