Cold Days. Warm Hearts. Stronger Community.

Sacramento, CA: At NoBonesNoHunger, our mission is to serve and uplift individuals in need throughout the Sacramento community. We provide essential resources and compassionate support to those experiencing hardship, with a commitment to making a meaningful difference right here in our city.

As Fall brings cooler days and Winter approaches, our focus turns to helping community members stay warm, dry, and protected. For individuals who are unsheltered or have limited access to basic necessities, cold temperatures and rainy weather can make everyday life especially difficult.

Help us bring warmth to those in need.

Monetary donations help us purchase essential Fall and Winter supplies, including blankets, sleeping bags, warm socks, gloves, beanies, jackets, and rain ponchos. To contribute, please visit the link provided in this post. We accept donations through Cash App, Venmo, and PayPal. Please include “Fall and Winter supplies” in the note section so we can direct your contribution toward these seasonal needs.

Transparency matters to us. Every donation is used for its intended purpose, and we are committed to ensuring your generosity directly supports the people you want to help.

You can also give through our Amazon wish list.

Our wish list, linked in this post, offers another way to support our outreach. Seasonal essentials such as thermal clothing, hand warmers, sturdy shoes, blankets, sleeping bags, and rain gear can provide warmth, comfort, and protection during the colder months. Please check the list for current needs and available items.

If you would like to donate additional supplies, please contact us so we can coordinate and confirm what is most needed.

Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference. A pair of warm socks, a dry jacket, or a blanket can bring comfort to someone facing a cold day or a long night outdoors.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and continued support of NoBonesNoHunger. Together, we can help our Sacramento neighbors face Fall and Winter with greater warmth, dignity, and care.

Thank You,

Tim & Jen

An Update to Our Community - Daniel

Sacramento, CA. - As many of you know, we have been honored to support our friend Daniel over the past several months. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, many of our friends from TikTok donated essential items and made financial contributions to assist him.

Due to Daniel's current incarceration (as of 07/24/26) and after careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue our support efforts and have removed his story from our website.

This was not an easy decision, but from a business perspective, we believe it is the appropriate course of action at this time.

We sincerely appreciate everyone who donated, shared their support, and helped make a positive difference. Your kindness and generosity have meant more than words can express.

We also respectfully ask that you understand our decision and refrain from asking questions regarding Daniel or the circumstances surrounding it. We will not be making any further public statements on this matter.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Important Community Update Regarding Our Outreach Location in Sacramento (links to donate)

Sacramento, CA – We would like to take a moment to address questions and concerns regarding why we hardly visit a particular location where we have consistently supported individuals such as Dominic, Jamaica, Julius, Daniel, and many others over the past several months. Our mission has always been centered on serving those in need with compassion, dignity, and respect, while also ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our volunteers and community members.

Over the past few months, our team has worked tirelessly to provide food, clothing, hygiene products, and other essential items to individuals and families facing hardship throughout Sacramento. We remain deeply committed to helping those experiencing food insecurity, homelessness, and difficult life circumstances. However, during our visits to this particular location, several incidents occurred that raised growing concerns regarding safety, organization, and the overall ability to effectively serve the community.

During one recent outreach event, while our volunteers were setting up tables and organizing supplies, an individual began removing items from the back of our truck believing he was assisting. Although we appreciate when individuals want to help, our team follows a structured process to ensure supplies are distributed fairly, safely, and efficiently. Unfortunately, situations like this began occurring more frequently and created confusion during setup and distribution.

In addition, there were repeated incidents where certain individuals began taking excessive amounts of food and supplies from the tables. At first, our team tried to be understanding and flexible, recognizing that many people are struggling. However, over time, the behavior escalated and made it increasingly difficult to ensure that resources were available for everyone in need. Our goal has always been to serve as many people as possible fairly and respectfully.

This location also became increasingly challenging due to aggressive behavior, heightened tensions, and interactions involving individuals experiencing mental health instability. On multiple occasions, Jen found herself in unsafe situations where groups of men crowded the staging area and began taking supplies before distribution was properly organized. These situations became overwhelming and created a serious concern for volunteer safety.

Additionally, there were incidents involving both Cilla and Roberta that further highlighted the risks our team was facing at this location. What began as efforts to simply help our community quickly turned into situations that felt unpredictable and, at times, frightening. While we understand the hardships many individuals face, we also have a responsibility to protect the volunteers who generously donate their time, energy, and resources to support this mission.

After careful consideration and many discussions within our team, we made the difficult decision to transition our outreach efforts to a new location where we can continue serving the community in a safer, more organized, and more positive environment. This decision was not made lightly, as we genuinely care about every individual we have met and supported along the way.

We are proud to announce our partnership with Billionaire Family Recycling in Sacramento, CA as we continue our mission to help those in need throughout our beautiful city. This partnership allows us to continue providing assistance while creating a safer and more structured environment for both volunteers and community members.

We want the community to know that our mission has not changed. We remain committed to helping people who are struggling, regardless of their circumstances. Hunger affects many individuals and families from all walks of life, and as we often say, you do not have to be homeless to be hungry.

We appreciate the continued support, understanding, and encouragement from our community as we move forward together in service of others.

Support Sacramento’s Most Vulnerable This Spring/Summer Through Water and Essential Donations (links to donate)

Sacramento, CA — At NoBonesNoHunger, our mission is to serve and uplift individuals in need throughout the Sacramento community. We are dedicated to providing essential resources and support to those experiencing hardship, and we remain committed to making a meaningful impact right here in our city.

As we transition into the warmer spring season and approach the peak of summer, access to clean, reliable drinking water becomes even more critical. High temperatures can pose serious health risks, especially for individuals who are unsheltered or have limited access to basic necessities. Ensuring that our community members stay hydrated is one of our top priorities during these months.

There are several ways you can support this effort. If you would like to make a monetary donation to help us purchase cases of bottled water, please visit the link provided in this post. We currently accept contributions through Cash App, Venmo, and PayPal. When making your donation, we kindly ask that you include “case of water” in the note section so we can allocate your contribution directly toward this need. On average, a case of bottled water costs approximately $6.00, including CRV and other associated fees.

Transparency is extremely important to us. Every donation we receive is used exactly as intended by our supporters, and we take pride in ensuring that your generosity directly benefits those you are aiming to help.

In addition to monetary donations, we also offer the option to contribute through our Amazon wish list, which is linked in this post. This list includes items that are especially useful during warmer weather, such as bottled water, electrolyte drinks, cooling supplies, and other essentials that help individuals stay safe and comfortable in the heat. If there are additional items you would like to donate that are not currently listed, you are welcome to include them in your order. Simply select at least one item from the wish list, which will allow you to add other products before completing your purchase.

Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference. Your support helps us continue our outreach efforts and ensures that we can provide critical resources to those who need them most.

We truly appreciate your kindness, generosity, and willingness to stand with us in supporting our Sacramento community.

Meet Priscilla: A Strong and Compassionate Volunteer Making a Difference in Sacramento

Sacramento, CA — We’re excited to introduce the incredible volunteers who support us at our Table of Giving. From time to time, we’ll be highlighting the individuals who make a meaningful impact in our community and help us carry out our mission with compassion and consistency. These volunteers are the heart of what we do, and we are proud to share their stories.

Today, we’re honored to feature Priscilla, also known as Cilla. We first connected with her through another creator on TikTok, and what began as a simple connection quickly grew into something much more meaningful. Since then, she has become not only a dedicated volunteer, but also a trusted friend and a familiar, uplifting presence on our live streams. Her energy, kindness, and willingness to help have made a lasting impression on everyone she meets.

Priscilla plays an important role in helping us serve our community. Whether she is assisting at the table, engaging with others during our live sessions, or supporting behind the scenes, she consistently shows up with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others. Her contributions never go unnoticed, and her presence continues to strengthen the work we do.

One of Priscilla’s most inspiring qualities is her resilience. She does not allow her disability to define or limit her. Instead, she faces each day with strength, determination, and grace. Her outlook on life serves as a reminder that challenges do not have to stand in the way of purpose, and she inspires those around her simply by being herself.

A little more about Priscilla: she is 26 years old and was born and raised in Stockton, California. She has a creative side and enjoys activities such as drawing and exploring makeup artistry. She also has a love for food and enjoys both dining out and home cooked meals. Some of her favorite cuisines include Italian, Chinese, and Mexican dishes.

If you spend time on our live streams, chances are you have already seen Priscilla in action. She joins us regularly and also serves as an outstanding moderator, helping keep our space welcoming, engaging, and supportive for everyone involved. Her presence truly enhances the experience for our community.

If you would like to connect with her, you can follow Priscilla on TikTok at @Priscillama. We encourage you to show your support and get to know her as well.

Note: For information about Cilla’s disability and the reason she uses a wheelchair, please click here.

Tim & Jen

Priscilla has spent time in our home, and we are grateful to consider her part of our extended family. She has been a wonderful addition to our household, and we truly appreciate the care, support, and positivity she brings both in and out of our home. Most importantly, she continues to be a dedicated and impactful part of our mission to serve the community.

Start Small, Stay Consistent: A Practical Guide to Helping Your Local Community (links to donate below)

Sacramento, CA — We’re often asked how to start a community table, and we’re always glad to share what we’ve learned. If you’re looking to get started, you’re in the right place. We believe information like this should be open and accessible, especially when it comes to supporting others and building stronger communities.

Our work started a few years ago with a simple goal. We prepared meals and handed them out directly to people experiencing homelessness across Sacramento. At that time, we weren’t streaming or sharing the process online. We focused on being consistent, building trust, and treating everyone with dignity and respect. As time went on, people began to notice and offered donations to support the effort.

At the start of 2026, we began going live on TikTok. This gave us a way to be transparent with supporters. People can see exactly how their contributions are used and the impact they’re making. It also adds a layer of accountability and helps keep things safer while we’re out in the community.

If you’re thinking about starting your own table, the most important thing is to start small and stay consistent. You don’t need a big budget or a perfect setup. Begin with what you can manage. Discount stores are a great place to find practical items like snacks, bottled water, hygiene products, toiletries, socks, and other essentials. Simple options like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are affordable, easy to prepare, and always appreciated.

Staying organized makes a big difference. Packing items into gallon bags or simple plastic bags can help you create care packages that are easy to hand out. It also helps ensure each person receives a mix of useful items. As you grow, you can adjust based on what people in your area need most.

Using platforms like TikTok can help you reach more people and build a community around your work. Going live allows others to connect with what you’re doing in real time. As your audience grows, you can set up a wishlist so supporters can contribute directly. This makes it easy for people to get involved in a meaningful way.

Transparency should always be a priority. Be clear about how donations are used and show the process whenever you can, whether that’s shopping, prepping meals, or distributing supplies. People appreciate being part of the journey, and it builds trust over time.

At the core of this work is consistency, honesty, and compassion. It’s not about recognition, it’s about showing up and helping others. When your intentions are genuine, people notice, and your impact grows naturally.

We hope this gives you the confidence to get started. Even small efforts matter, and every act of kindness helps build a stronger, more connected community.

Respect and Privacy Matter: A Message to Our TikTok Live Community (people with disabilities)

Sacramento, CA. — It’s unfortunate that this even needs to be said, but sometimes curiosity turns into something more intrusive than intended. During our TikTok lives, we occasionally get questions like, “Why is John Doe in a wheelchair?” or “Why is Mary disabled?”

We understand that people may be curious, but the honest answer is simple: it’s not your business.

Members of our community, including some of our volunteers, live with disabilities. They are here to be part of the same shared experience as everyone else, not to have their personal lives questioned or explained. Their medical history, personal challenges, or life circumstances are private, and they have every right to keep those details to themselves.

It’s important to remember that being part of a community means showing respect, kindness, and basic human decency. Asking someone to explain their disability, especially in a public setting, can be uncomfortable and inappropriate. No one should feel singled out or put on display.

We ask that everyone be mindful of how they engage. Focus on the purpose of our lives, support one another, and help us maintain a welcoming and respectful space for all.

How Our TikTok Community Helped Feed Sacramento’s Homeless on March 14, 2026 (Truck Rental Information / Link to Donate)

Sacramento, CA — On March 14, 2026, we had the opportunity to host another community outreach event serving the unhoused community here in Sacramento. Thanks to the generosity and support of our TikTok followers, we were able to provide fresh grilled burgers prepared on site, along with bacon wrapped hot dogs generously provided by a fellow TikTok influencer. In addition to the hot meals, we distributed our usual assortment of essential supplies and care items to those in need.

Events of this size require a significant amount of coordination and equipment. To transport all of the food, supplies, and materials needed to make the event successful, we typically rent a truck such as a U Haul. The cost for the rental, including mileage and fuel, averages about $75 each time we host a large-scale event. With the help of our generous supporters, we were able to cover the truck rental for this past outreach.

If you would like to help support future events by contributing toward truck rentals, your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Monetary donations can be made through Cash App, Venmo, or PayPal. Please include “Truck Rental” in the note when submitting your donation so we can allocate it accordingly.

Thank you in advance for your continued generosity and support. Your contributions help make these community outreach efforts possible.
